Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
GoLifeQuote is a privately owned website operated by First Health Enrollment, LLC, an independent, licensed insurance agency. We are not an insurance carrier and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government agency or program.
This page explains how California, Nevada, and other US residents can exercise their right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information.
What “Sale” and “Sharing” Mean Under California Law
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the term “sale” includes sharing personal information with a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, and “sharing” includes disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share leads with outside marketers or lead buyers. The information you submit through our quote form is used by First Health Enrollment, LLC and its own licensed insurance agents to contact you about the life insurance coverage you requested, and may be shared with insurance carriers with which First Health Enrollment, LLC is appointed solely to prepare the quotes and applications you have requested. It is not sold or shared with third-party marketing partners.
The only activity on this Site that may constitute “sharing” or a “sale” under California law is our use of cookies and advertising technologies, described in our Privacy Policy. It does not include the information you submit through our quote form, which we never sell or share for marketing.
Two different things are covered on this page, and they work differently. Cookie and advertising activity is limited or stopped through controls you apply yourself, listed under “Your Cookie and Advertising Choices” below; they differ in how much they cover, so it is worth reading which is which. Requests about the information we hold about you — disclosure, correction, deletion, or to stop contacting you — are handled by us directly, using the contact methods further down this page.
Your Rights
As a California resident, you have the right to:
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. The cookie and advertising activity described above can be prevented entirely with browser tracking protection or a tracker blocker, and can be narrowed by cookie controls and the ad-personalization settings — all are listed under “Your Cookie and Advertising Choices” below, with what each one covers. Your quote-form information is not sold or shared with third-party marketing partners, so there is no lead sharing to opt out of.
- Know what personal information has been collected. You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Request deletion of your personal information. You may request that we delete the personal information we have collected, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Your Cookie and Advertising Choices
These are controls you apply yourself, without needing to ask us. They differ in how much they actually cover, so they are grouped by what each one does:
Prevents the tags from loading — the most complete option
- Tracking protection or a content blocker. Your browser’s built-in tracking protection, or a tracker/ad blocker, prevents our analytics and advertising tags from loading at all, so no data is collected by them.
Limits what can be stored
- Browser cookie settings. Block or delete cookies for this Site. Most browsers also offer a single setting that blocks third-party or cross-site tracking cookies. This prevents identifiers being stored on or read from your device and clears ones already stored, but on its own it does not stop the tags from loading, so some measurement can still occur without a cookie.
Limits ad personalization only
These reduce interest-based advertising from providers that participate in them. They do not stop analytics or advertising measurement, and you will still see ads — just ads selected using less information about you. Their reach varies too: some are tied to an account you are signed in to, others are stored per browser or per device. Each provider’s own page is the authoritative description of what its control covers.
- Google ad settings. Turn off ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com. This applies to Google services and participating partner sites.
- Industry opt-out pages. The Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative operate opt-outs covering many participating advertising providers at once.
- Mobile devices. The limit-ad-tracking setting in your phone or tablet’s privacy settings restricts use of the device advertising identifier.
If you clear your cookies, use a different browser, or use a different device, you may need to apply these choices again — that is a consequence of how browser-based controls work, not a reset by us.
